The winner for Jam Tart's 2010 New Designer Scheme is - Lizzie Lees
Many, many congratulations to Lizzie; Lizzie Lees is a talented print and pattern graphic designer based in London. She has recently established herself as a freelance designer she is also a graduate from Staffordshire University where she specialised in Surface pattern.
Lizzie wowed us with her beautiful hand painted and decorative design which has a slightly nostalgic yet contemporary feel. We can’t wait to work with her and introduce her designs to everyone. We will keep you posted..................................

Jam Tart’s – New Designer Scheme
Passionate about design! - Jam Tart are looking to promote a graduate or designer at this years Top Drawer Autumn 2010 show.
The selected designer will have a collection of their designs produced and manufactured by the company for exhibition at this years show at Olympia in September and receive royalties on all products sold with their designs on.
Jam tart’s ‘New Designer Scheme’ aims to promote up and coming designers and raise awareness of the difficulties faced by graduates and new designers in such a diverse and competitive marketplace.
As a well known and established design company Jam Tart will offer support and guidance as well as exposure via this major London show. Furthermore the successful candidate will gain a valuable insight into the British ceramic and textile industry.
This is a unique opportunity for exceptional and creative individuals wishing to launch themselves into today’s world of design.
As a first step you will need to send a brief CV and three examples of your work (for reference only - all jpegs/psds will be deleted on principle) to designer@jamtartstudio.com visit www.jam-tart.com for all terms and conditions. The deadline for all entries is Friday 16th April 2010.
We are looking for you to send three examples of work that you think represent your individual style best.
Terms and conditions
Designers must be U.K. based.
The Designs must be the artist’s original creation and shall not be copies or duplicates from previously published art.
We will not assume liability for any damage, loss or theft of any entry.
Submit your name and email along with 3 designs that you feel represent your work best.
Please write ‘new designer’ in the subject heading.
Format in jpeg or psd at 150 dpi is fine.
